About the 2017 Barn Tour

On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, the Saucon Valley Conservancy’s 10th Annual Barn Tour began at the Southeastern Volunteer Fire Company, 2687 Wassergass Rd, Hellertown, PA 18055.
The day began with a talk about local barns featuring barn expert Gregory Huber. Self-guided tour (maps provided) began at 11:30am, with Saucon Valley Conservancy docents at each of the barns until 4:00pm. Guests learned about the history, structure, and uses of our wonderful heritage barns and got a chance to tour the interiors of these historic buildings. Visitors enjoyed the photo exhibit of Pennsylvania Barns at the Heller Homestead Art Gallery. All proceeds benefited the Saucon Valley Conservancy. At the Bethlehem Waldheim Club, Barn Tour participants enjoy a lecture by barn experts and Bob Ensminger and Greg Huber.
